Here we go again...the next hot date for Boiling Point, timed for all those art students who want to keep the degree show party rolling!

Mr MacClean will be filling one of the guest spots along with my regular collaborators, Spenny and Ayyub. Mr MacClean promises to play two of his all time favourite records, Rev Loften and the Holy Travellers' Look to Jesus along with Jackie Wilson's Workout. (Our nights are nothing if not eclectic!) As for me I'll be wowing you with some classics inspired by a trip to a sultry Arts Centre to hear Papa Noel's Congloese rumba last night, and a sample of new discoveries including a great new Afrofunk 45 by the Big Beats from Ghana

Off for a weekend in Frankfurt with Analog Africa's Sammi, and hope to come back with a pile of rare goodies from his treasure trove. Check out his latest compilation by The Green Arrows which got a four star review in Songlines!
